See those cool little pictures next to some of the comments our listeners have left?
My blog takes advantage of a fun bit of internet technology known as “Gravatars” : Globally Recognized Avatars that appear next to your comments on any Gravatar-enabled site. If you’d like to choose your own gravatar, it’s easy and free. Here’s what to do:
Visit gravatar.com. Register your e-mail address* and upload or select an image of your choice. (You can resize and crop it right there online.)
Here at the SEOAddicted Blog (or any other Gravatar-enabled site), include your Gravatar-registered e-mail address* when you leave a comment. (Your e-mail address won’t be publicly available.)
There’s not even a step 3—it’s that easy! (Though if things don’t work the way you expect them to, you can find help on the Gravatar FAQ page, or by contacting me.)
Thanks for reading, and for leaving your comments!
*Some users have run into trouble when they’ve entered capital letters in their e-mail addresses–e.g., “SEOADDICTED@gmail.com” rather than “seoaddicted@gmail.com.” To avoid that difficulty here (and actually, anywhere your e-mail address is requested), it’s best to use all lowercase letters.
- Hiren.
